Katy Perry And One Direction Nominated For Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2014

The likes of Taylor Swift and Justin Timberlake are also up for awards at this year's event.

Katy Perry and One Direction have both scored multiple nominations for the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2014.

One Direction are up for both Favourite Music Group and Favourite Song for 'Story Of My Life', while Katy Perry is up for both Favourite Female Singer and Favourite Song for her 2013 hit 'Roar'.

"To be nominated for two awards at this year's Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards is just incredible," One Direction star Niall Horan told The Hollywood Reporter. "Thank you to Nickelodeon and to our amazing fans that always support us."

One Direction are up for both Favourite Music Group and Favourite Song for 'Story Of My Life', while Katy Perry is up for both Favourite Female Singer and Favourite Song for her 2013 hit 'Roar'.

Elsewhere, Bruno Mars, Pitbull, Justin Timberlake and Pharrell Williams will battle it out for Favourite Male Star and the likes of Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, Maroon 5 and Macklemore have all scored nominations.

The Kids' Choice Awards 2014 takes place in California on 29th March.
