Canadian pop star Justin Bieber also picked up an awards at the ceremony for the third year running.
Katy Perry and One Direction were among the big winners at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2013 last night.
The annual children's awards show was hosted by Transformers star Josh Duhamel on Saturday night (23rd March) in Los Angeles, and saw both acts winning alongside stars like Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez.
One Direction were named Favourite Music Group over huge US acts like 'Moves Like Jagger' stars Maroon 5 and fellow boy band Big Time Rush.
The 'Live While We're Young' five-piece also won a second award when their debut single 'What Makes You Beautiful' was named Favourite Song at the Nickelodeon awards show.
'Teenage Dream' singer Katy Perry won Favourite Female Singer, and attended the ceremony in person to pick up her gong, while Justin Bieber won Favourite Male Singer for the third year in a row and tweeted fans after to thank them for the honour.
"Woohoo. I didn't even know. Haha. WE won at the #KCA's. We did. WE," Justin posted on Saturday. "Thank u to all of u. #teambieber #muchlove #3yearsinarow thanks."
'Little Things' singer Harry Styles also posted a special message thanking fans for voting for them to win at this year's Kids' Choice Awards.
"The amount of time you guys put in to doing thing for us is amazing," Harry posted. "So again, thank you for everything you've done. It feels nice."
The Nickelodean Kids' Choice Awards 2013 also boasted performances from Christina Aguilera & Pitbull, who kicked off the show with their song 'Feel This Moment' and Ke$ha performing both 'C'mon' and 'We R Who We R'.
