Katy Perry Enjoys New Year Celebrations Despite Russell Brand Divorce

The 'California Gurls' singer celebrated the start of 2012 with friends in Los Angeles despite the news of her divorce from husband Russell Brand.
Katy Perry reported put her relationship troubles aside to celebrate New Year's Eve last weekend (31st December) and was spotted partying with friends.
The 'Firework' singer saw in 2012 at Soho House in West Hollywood with a large group of friends, just one day after husband Russell Brand filed papers for divorce.
"Katy was in a private room with a group and she seemed to be in a great mood," a source told the New York Post. "She spent most of the night dancing and laughing with friends.
"One would never ever even know that her husband had just filed for divorce."
The 'Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)' singer wed comedian Russell in October 2010 but claims of complications in the couple's marriage have been reported regularly over the past few months.
