The 'Firework' singer received a host of celebrity well wishes as she celebrated her special day.
Katy Perry has revealed that she spent her birthday in the company of US President Barack Obama's wife Michelle.
The 'I Kissed A Girl' singer uploaded an image of the pair and thanked fans and celebrities such as Jessie J for their well wishes as she turned 27 yesterday (25th October).
"NOW my bday is complete! Lunch with @MichelleObama #ChicVote," she tweeted as she uploaded an image of the pair.
Jessie J was also among the stars who wished the US singer a happy birthday.
The 'Domino' star took to her Twitter account to offer her best wishes to the American star as she took a break out of recording for her new second studio album.
She wrote: "Happy Birthday @katyperry ;)"
The 'Hot N Cold' singer then posted a message to say how "overwhelmed" she was feeling after all the messages.

"Thank you all for making me feel so special today. I'm overwhelmed with all the love that I might have a small happy cry now. So blessed," she wrote.
The singer was seen this week performing at a rally for Barack Obama in which she wore a latex ballot voting dress to show support for the President's re-election campaign.
