Demi Lovato Wants Lady Gaga And Katy Perry To Join The X Factor USA Panel

The returning panelist says she still has no idea which two people will be joining the show this year.

Demi Lovato has named Lady Gaga and Katy Perry as her ideal candidates to join this year's series of The X Factor USA.

The US star says she is hoping for big-name replacements to take the judging panel seats left by departing judges Britney Spears and LA Reid.

"I would love for either Lady Gaga or Katy Perry [to sign up],' Demi declared during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week.

But, despite revealing who she would like to see join, Demi admits she has no idea who the producers have actually shortlisted for the two panel seats.

"Don't even ask because I have no idea who is in the running," the singer explained. "I'm just glad that I'm not going to be the rookie anymore."

Demi also opened up about how she was one of the people who recommended reality star Khloe Kardashian for the role of co-host on The X Factor USA, before defending her against a joke made by chat show host Jimmy.

"She's a very lovely girl and she's very sweet," Demi added.

'Scream & Shout' singer Britney Spears announced she would not be returning to The X Factor USA back in January, citing a desire to get back to music as the reason for her departure.

Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato are the only confirmed judges for the third season of The X Factor USA this autumn.
