Katy Perry's purr-fect

Here's your chance to check out Katy Perry in a latex cat-suit. It's all to promote her new perfume, Purr.

The outfit and photo-shoot which involved Katy crawling around with a massive pink ball of wool, was inspired by the cat-shaped bottle.

The bottle itself has bejewelled eyes and purple colouring.

The fragrance is set to be released here in November and is said to smell of apple, bamboo and peach.

Katy told Women's Wear Daily, "There are amazing fragrances backed by other celebrities, but what I'm bringing is not like any other."

"It wasn't just like, 'I love gardenias.' That would have been the easy route. I really wanted to develop a scent that was completely unlike anything I'd smelled before and not one that smelled like a knockoff of another scent. I'd never want to do anything 'just because'..."

Meanwhile, the 'Teenage Dream' star was seen jetting out of Los Angeles today amid rumours she will wed Russell Brand in the next few days.

The couple are expected to tie the knot at the Taj Rambagh Palace, the same hotel where they got engaged on New Year's Eve.
