Katy Perry Spotted In Public Fresh From John Mayer's Ellen Chat About Their Break-Up

The 'Part Of Me' singer looked solemn as she headed to Los Angeles airport just weeks after the split.

Katy Perry has been pictured out in public for the first time since John Mayer opened up on the couple's break-up on a US chat show.

The 'Your Body Is A Wonderland' singer appeared on The Ellen Show this week (1st April) to discuss the couple's split last month, and Katy was spotted heading out of Los Angeles in the wake of his appearance yesterday (2nd April).

Katy was pictured with her sister Angela outside LAX Airport in LA dressed in a rocker style outfit of purple and white tie-dye dress, skinny jeans, denim jacket and leather boots as she made her way into the airport.

The couple first got together last summer and have been hitting the headlines ever since, while reports first emerged of their break-up in late March with rumours blaming their hectic work schedule on the split.

During his appearance on Ellen, John confirmed he is "happy" despite the end of the romance and refusing to elaborate on the split by saying he has learned to "put the wall between one thing and the other".

"[It was a] very private relationship going in, it was a private relationship during and it's a private relationship still," he explained.
