The 'Firework' star is said to no longer be involved with the US singer.
Katy Perry's rumoured relationship with US singer-songwriter John Mayer has come to an end, according to several news outlets this week.
The 'Wide Awake' singer has been pictured out with 'Your Body Is A Wonderland' singer John several times over the past month or so, attending dinner at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles as well as going to a mutual friend's birthday party in Hollywood, however the heavily reported romance is now said to be over.
"They'll end up as friends. They were honestly having fun," a source told People this week. "People made to out to be far more than it was.
The two pop singers have yet to acknowledge rumours of their relationship, however another source claims the 'Teenage Dream' singer is upset about splitting from the American star.
"She's really upset about it," a source told Us Weekly, while another added: "She's making it seem like it wasn't serious with John, but she is hurt."
