Katy Perry Offers John Mayer A Key To Her Los Angeles House?

The 'Teenage Dream' singer's relationship said to be getting serious with the popular singer-songwriter.

Katy Perry has reportedly taken the next step in her much rumoured relationship with US singer-songwriter John Mayer by giving him a key to her Los Angeles home.

The 'Part Of Me' star is rumoured to have been dating the 'Your Body Is A Wonderland' singer for the past several months, after a number of public dates over the summer.

Katy is now believed to have offered John the chance to stay with her at her home when he visits from New York City, despite already owning a property in California.

"John thinks it is easier to stay in hotels rather than his own LA pad," a source told The Sun today (18th September).  "But Katy insists he should stay with her.

They added: "She thinks it makes sense."

Katy and John's heavily rumoured romance was reported to have ended back in August before the two were spotted joining friends for a trip to Las Vegas recently, that saw them visiting the famous Spearmint Rhino strip club. 

The 'Wide Awake' singer is currently enjoying some time off from music as she prepares to start writing and recording the follow-up to her 2010 sophomore release 'Teenage Dream'.

Katy Perry's 3D concert movie Part Of Me, which launched in cinemas earlier this summer, is released on DVD on 5th November.
