Katy Perry Not Attending Grammy Awards 2013 With Boyfriend John Mayer

The 'I Kissed A Girl' singer will reportedly it the red carpet with friends including actress Allison Williams.

Katy Perry will apparently not be attending the Grammy Awards 2013 with her new boyfriend John Mayer.

The 'Hot N Cold' singer started dating the blues-pop musician shortly after her divorce was finalised with Russell Brand last summer – but will be hitting the red carpet of this weekend's ceremony with a famous female friend.

US actress Allison Williams told Us magazine: "I am going to the Grammys and Katy Perry is my date.

"She's the hottest date. She's a friend of mine and she's nominated as she should be. I can't wait to go."

The Girls actress has also predicted her pop pal to be among the big winners on the night.

"Obviously she's awesome. She's the best."

The 'Firework' singer will go up against the likes of Carly Rae Jepsen, Rihanna and Adele for Best Pop Solo Performance on the night.

Katy will also be presenting an award on the night, which takes place live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on 10th February.
