The 'Part Of Me' star plans to take a break from music following release of next single 'Wide Awake'.
Katy Perry has vowed to take a holiday after the release of her next single.
The singer is due to unveil the track 'Wide Awake', which is taken from the recent special edition of her second album 'Teenage Dream', later this month.
Speaking at the NARM Music Awards, where she was named Artist Of The Year, Katy revealed that she was looking forward to having a holiday.
"I swear, after this song, I'm taking a f**king vacation," Katy said.
The 'Part Of Me' star also used her acceptance speech to pay special thanks to the music industry for helping her second album to achieve so much.
"I have to say that I do a lot to sell my records," she said. "I do the right things… I work very hard! I like to sell out in all the best ways."
'Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection' was released earlier this year and features the singer's original album as well as new tracks.
