The 'Part Of Me' singer admits her upcoming 3D concert film will "tastefully" reveal all on her relationship to the comedian.
Katy Perry has confessed that she's "put everything" about her marriage and ultimate relationship breakdown to comedian Russell Brand into her upcoming 3D concert film Katy Perry: Part Of Me.
The 'I Kissed A Girl' singer told Ellen DeGeneres that she felt it was "important" to divulge as much information as possible but keep it "tasteful" at the same time.
"I thought it was important for me to show everything inbetween [marriage and divorce]," she admitted. "I think sometimes people think that we're perfect and we know we're not perfect, at all."
She continued: "I think it's important to start breaking down the idea that to achieve your dream you have to always be perfect or flawless or live in some fantasy world – so that's why I decided to put everything into the film, in the most tasteful way.
"Mostly it's about how I got there and the ride along the way which can be bumpy but mostly it was extremely fun," the American star concluded.
The couple announced their separation at the end of 2011 following 14 months together.
The film is scheduled for release in cinemas on 5th July and the singer recently unveiled the official poster for the flick which featured the star posing in front of a mirror with a hairbrush.
