The 'California Gurls' star will hit the big screen with her Paramount release this summer.
Katy Perry has announced that she will release a 3D concert movie entitled Katy Perry: Part Of Me this summer.
The 'I Kissed A Girl' singer teased her fans last night (7th March) by saying she had some "huge news" to announce before making details of her movie available.
"FINALLY, my MOVIE is coming out with Paramount this summer! It's called "KATY PERRY: PART OF ME" Presented In 3D! KATYCATS-LETS TREND #KP3D," she tweeted last night.
The news follows the recent announcement that the American could be set to feature in a new film based on the life of Britain's Got Talent star Paul Potts.
Other acts who have famously produced a blockbuster 3D movie include the likes of Justin Bieber and JLS.
Meanwhile, Katy is currently in France enjoying Paris Fashion Week and joined Kanye West at his collection after show party for a go karting race with stars such as Kim Kardashian.
