LISTEN: Katy Perry's Just Dropped Her New Song 'Rise', And It's As Powerful As They Get!
The song which is set to be the theme tune to the upcoming Olympic Games will give you all of the motivation you'll ever need.
Not quite content with being the largest-selling digital artist in history, Katy Perry has collaborated with the Rio 2016 Olympics to create 'Rise', her latest single, which sounds NOTHING like she's done before.
This anthem is a powerful message of hope, with Perry opening with the lyrics "I won’t just survive / Oh, you will see me thrive".

'Rise' is set to be the prime song to feature during the Olympics' coverage this year, including the ceremony's opening ceremony, as well as to be viewed in more than 20,000 movie theaters during an original “Rise” cinema spot.
"This is a song that’s been brewing inside me for years, that has finally come to the surface. I was inspired to finish it now, rather than save it for my next album, because now more than ever, there is a need for our world to unite" Katy Perry said. "I know that together we can rise above the fear - in our country, and around the world. I can’t think of a better example than the Olympic athletes..."
