The rapper surprised guests when he took to the DJ booth at the Manhattan nightclub to preview new material.
Kanye West left clubbers gobsmacked as he played a host of new songs at a nightclub in New York, according to reports.
The 'Mercy' rapper was believed to have been hanging out with Leonardo DiCaprio before he headed to the DJ booth at Dream Downtown.
A source told the New York Post that Kanye was "dressed in black pants and a leather T-shirt and "danced and lip-synced" to his songs while they played.
"The room looked stunned. People were standing around with jaws literally dropped," the source added.
Kanye is scheduled to release his new album 'Cruel Summer' on 4th September.
The album is a collaboration with the stars signed to his G.O.O.D. Music record label, including John Legend, Cyhi the Prynce, Common, Big Sean, Kid Cudi, Mr. Hudson, Mos Def, Pusha T, D’Banj, Teyana Taylor, Q-Tip and Hit-Boy.
Kanye's last solo album 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy' was released in 2010 to huge critical acclaim, and included the tracks 'Monster' featuring Nicki Minaj and the Rihanna-featuring 'All Of The Lights'.
