The 'All Of The Lights' rapper says he thinks the couple's baby name sounds "cool".
Rob Kardashian has confirmed that Kanye West and his sister Kim have named their baby North West, and says he advised them not to care about what anyone else thought.
The celebrity couple have faced increasing speculation about their new arrival since Kim gave birth to their daughter two weeks ago, and Kim's younger brother Rob says there would always have been "haters" regardless of what name the couple settled on.
"I told Kim and Kanye this, I'm like, 'Yo, people are always going to talk whether it's good or bad'," the reality star explained on Ryan Seacrest's show yesterday (26th June). 'There's always going to be the haters, but do what you guys feel.'
"Like, you know everyone's going to say, 'Oh you're coming up with some weird celebrity, crazy name'," Rob continued. "You know how it is, [but] North West, it sounds cool!
"North is the highest point, so it has a lot of meaning to it," he added.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star went on to say he hasn't visited sister Kim to meet his new niece just yet as he wants to give the family time to bond.
"When it comes to babies I like to give the person all their time with their significant other to let them enjoy the moment," he added. "I'm happy the baby is healthy and my sister is healthy."

Earlier this week reports suggested the couple had given out a number of bogus baby pictures to friends in an effort to test their loyalties, after one or two of the pictures surfaced on a US gossip website.
Kanye West was also celebrating this week after scoring another number one album in the US with the release of his new record 'Yeezus'.
