Melanie Martinez has previewed her upcoming project 'K-12', along with a website that features a mysterious pink bus. The singer shared a 20-second teaser trailer for 'K-12' on Twitter and Instagram.
Melanie Martinez shared a teaser for her upcoming era and sophomore album which appears to be titled K-12. K-12 will be a follow up to the 24-year-old singer's debut album, Cry Baby, released in 2015.
On Thursday, May 15, Melanie shared a 20 second clip with her 1 million Twitter followers along with the caption "when the bell rings, you must be in your assigned seats."

Melanie didn't add any other clues about what to expect from K-12 but it's safe to assume there will be a twisted school theme somewhere in the mix.
In the teaser, Melanie walks into a classroom and sees a bunch of creepy students and a stern looking teacher. Melanie's top in the video has K-12 embroidered on a heart. Her aesthetic also appears to be a continuation of her previous Cry Baby era.
On her website, Melanie previews some art associated with the upcoming project. The website, which features a pink school bus parked in front of a palatial structure, gives fans an option to join her mailing list for updates on K-12. It also previews a tour, though clicking the 'tour' option does not navigate anywhere at the moment.
Melanie has not yet revealed what the first K-12 single will be called or when it will be released. When the song is revealed, it will be her first official album single since "Sippy Cup" in 2015.
