Justin Timberlake And Ricky Gervais Spark "Floorpic" Craze Online

The 'SexyBack' singer was pictured with the British comedian at a Time 100 event recently.

Justin Timberlake and Ricky Gervais have helped cause a new online craze called "floorpic" following a shot the comedian posted on Twitter this week.

The 'Cry Me A River' singer hung out with the British comedian at the recent Time 100 event in New York and could be seen in the shot laying on the floor.

"@jtimberlake & I, lying on the floor at The Time 100 Most Influential People Gala. I blame the free booze..," wrote The Office star on his social networking page.

His image caused thousands of fans to replicate the shot and share their own interpretations – much to the amusement of Ricky.

He added: "This "Old people pretending to be unconscious on the floor" is my favourite twitter game ever. #floorpics." 

One follower started a new Twitter name @floorpics to collate all the images.

Meanwhile, Justin Timberlake is set to head to Wembley Stadium this June as he hosts Capital FM's Summertime Ball 2013.

Taylor Swift, Robbie Williams and The Wanted will all be performing at the event which also includes PSY, Union J and Will.i.am.
