The 'My Love' singer says he has been left "speechless" by the first day sales of his new single release.
Justin Timberlake says he feels "humbled" by the overwhelmingly positive reaction to his new single 'Suit & Tie', after the song reached number one on iTunes less than 24 hours after release.
The 'SexyBack' singer gave his new song a surprise release first thing on Monday morning (14th January) and admits he has been left "speechless" by fan reaction to his first solo single in over five years.
"Just woke up and heard we're #1 on iTunes!" Justin tweeted yesterday after launching the new song, which features '99 Problems' rapper Jay-Z. "Wow… Speechless. Thank you, thank you, thank you! #SuitAndTie.
"So humbled by all of this," the 'My Love' singer later added. "This day has been TOO crazy. I just have to say it one more time to all of you guys and gals… THANK YOU!!"
Justin has also announced plans to return with his third studio album later this year, suggesting the record's title will be 'The 20/20 Experience' in an open letter posted to coincide with the song's release.

The 'My Love' singer said inspiration for his return to music had come "out of the blue" during a spontaneous recording studio session, after focusing mainly on acting work for the past few years.
Justin Timberlake is expected to announce further details about new album 'The 20/20 Experience' in the coming months, and is believed to feature on at least one song from Beyonce's upcoming fifth studio album.
