The 'TKO' singer also explains why he split his third album into two separate volumes.
Justin Timberlake has promised to perform some new music this weekend at a music festival in Las Vegas, teasing that he will play several songs from his brand new album at the event.
The 'Mirrors' singer, who returned with a brand new single called 'TKO' earlier today (20th September), will play the iHeartRadio Festival this Saturday (12st September), and says fans can expect something special and new from his set.
"I have not put the set list together yet because, as you know, I procrastinate on things like that," Justin revealed to Ryan Seacrest on-air this week. "But we are looking at playing some new material from the second half of this record.
"So I'm excited for people to hear it," Justin promised, before going on to explain the concept of splitting his third studio record into two separate volumes.
"I just felt like so much of it went together," he explained. "I wanted to release a double album but then, after speaking to my label, we though it would be an interesting idea to see what it would be like to split up a double album and release it over the course of a year.
"The songs that I released in March just reminded me of summertime a little bit more and the songs that are coming out this month felt a little darker so they made me feel like [the winter] collection," he added.
