'N Sync's Reunion At MTV VMAs 2013 Was A One-Off, Says JC Chasez

The 'Bye Bye Bye' five-piece are not expected to tour again despite their one night only reunion.
'N Sync star JC Chasez says the band's surprise reunion at the MTV Video Music Awards 2013 was a one-off to celebrate Justin Timberlake's career.
The nineties boy ban reunited on stage at the MTV event on Sunday (25th August) for a surprise medley of their hits 'Bye Bye Bye' and 'Girlfriend' during Justin's performance but JC says fans shouldn't expect any more announcements from the band.
"It was just about five guys who were great friends, who spent 10 or 15 years together touring," JC Chasez told Ryan Seacrest this week after the VMAs performance. "We wanted to give that back to our fans, but we were there mainly to support Justin."
The US singer also revealed how quickly the plan for 'N Sync to reunite came about, and how it was a relatively last minute decision that happened after Justin gave him a call.
"Literally just a few days ago, Justin gave me a buzz and he pretty much said, 'Hey man, listen, I'm getting this award and they've given me a pile of time to perform, and we started our careers at MTV and I think we should get the band back together."

The singer went on to say that it felt like "no time had passed" between when the group last performed together and their performance at the MTV VMAs 2013.
"He wanted to acknowledge that part of his career, and so we all decided to do it," JC added.
'Take Back The Night' singer Justin picked up three awards out of the six he was nominated for at this year's VMAs 2013, as well as being presented with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award for his accomplishments in the industry.
