The former boy band are heavily rumoured to appear tonight after posting their first Twitter message.
'N Sync have sparked further speculation they may be set to reunite and perform at the MTV Video Music Awards 2013 tonight (25th August) after setting up an official Twitter account.
The 'Girlfriend' five-piece have faced mounting speculation over the past few weeks that they are set to reunite to celebrate band member Justin Timberlake receiving the MTV Video Vanguard Award.
The nineties boy band have now set up their own verified Twitter account and posted their first tweet, less than 24 hours before the VMAs.
"Mic check, mic check one.. two… is this thing on?!" reads 'N Sync's first ever tweet, posted yesterday (24th August), before accruing over 80,000 followers in one day.

Justin Timberlake has already been confirmed as a performer at this year's awards show, where he is also nominated for a further six gongs.
'N Sync star Lance Bass courted further speculation earlier this week when he refused to confirm or deny the rumours in a US radio interview.
E! reports that 'N Sync are indeed planning to perform a medley of songs at the MTV event today, but claims the final song choices are yet to be decided
The MTV Video Music Awards 2013 takes place tonight (25th August) live from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York with performances expected from Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Kanye West.
