The 'Suit & Tie' star says the two even agreed to try and collaborate together in the future.
Justin Timberlake says he and Kanye West cleared the air at the MTV VMAs 2013 last weekend after their fallout earlier this year.
The 'Take Back The Night' singer was criticised by Kanye back in February for his Jay-Z team-up 'Suit & Tie', with Justin later responding through a comedy skit on Saturday Night Live.
However Justin says the pair are now back on good terms after talking at the VMAs and says he hopes the pair can work together very soon.
"At the end of the day it's just music!" Justin revealed to Sway in America this week, while discussing the pair's issues. "I love the record, I love 'Suit & Tie. It reminds me of the music I grew up listening to.
"I respect his opinion because I think he's a genius, but I don't share that opinion," Justin reiterated. "It's just not that big of a deal, to do it at SNL too is like, it's not that big of a deal!
"We've never worked together, so I don't think that he fully understands what it is that I can do," the 'Mirrors' singer explained. "I love 'Yeezus', I love that album, I think he's ahead of a lot, especially in his genre.
"I think people are going to appreciate it a lot more in the future."

Justin went on to reveal he would be open to collaborating with Kanye in the future, and says the pair even talked about it during the VMAs last weekend.
"Well, the best way I know how to do that is for us to just sit down and play music," he added.
Justin Timberlake is now preparing for the release of his new album 'The 20/20 Experience Pt. 2' which drops on 30th September.
