Justin Timberlake Seriously Considering Elton John Biopic

The 'Sexy Back' star is top of the veteran singer's wish list.

Justin Timberlake is "seriously" considering playing Sir Elton John in a new biopic about the singer's life, 'Rocketman'.

Earlier this month, Sir Elton said Justin was top of his wish list to play him after the 'Sexy Back' star dressed as him in the video for 'This Train Don't Stop There Anymore'.

Speaking about Justin, Sir Elton told the Los Angeles Times: "He played me before in a David LaChappelle video of 'Rocket Man' and was superb."

"Justin is taking it very seriously," a source told E! Online. "He's working with his people to figure out exactly how to respond."

Rocketman will follow Sir Elton's impressive rise to fame and has been described as a "jukebox musical".

A major announcement about the movie is expected to be made in the coming weeks.
