The 'One Time' singer admits the Hollywood actor wanted to ensure his children were surrounded by good people.
Justin Bieber has revealed that he was interviewed by Will Smith before he was allowed to hang out with his children and become "a part of the family".
The 'Somebody To Love' singer told Ellen DeGeneres during his appearance on the show today (23rd May) that the Men In Black star wanted to ensure his son Jayden would be spending time with "good people".
"Well basically you know he just wants to make sure good people are around his family you know, he doesn't want just anybody," the teen star admitted. "So basically he's like if you going to be around my kid, you have to make sure you do this and this and this."
Asked by the host as to what exactly he meant, he added: "You know be respectful. You know like make sure if I have something the next day that we get the proper amount of sleep and stuff like that. Yeah, he's about his business."
The star is close friends with Will's son Jayden and the pair have performed and recorded together numerous times in the past.
Justin was also on the show to make an announcement concerning his upcoming 'Believe' world tour and also performed his latest single 'Boyfriend'.
