The 'Baby' singer has praised the 'Lighting' singers after their first US single charted in the top five on iTunes.
The Wanted have been congratulated by Justin Bieber following their chart success in the US and Canada.
The 'Warzone' singers are currently at number 5 on the American iTunes chart with their debut US single 'Glad You Came', while the track is already number one on iTunes in Canada.
"Congrats to my guys from @thewantedmusic – they toured with me in S America and their song #gladyoucame is # on ITUNES rt now. #goodguys," Justin posted yesterday (22nd February).
The 'Never Say Never' singer's tweet was later retweeted by The Wanted's Tom Parker, who has also promised fans a surprise later today.
"I'm genuinely taken a back by all this," Tom tweeted this afternoon (23rd February). "We're going to do a little video for you all later to show you how much means x."
The Wanted previously supported Justin in late 2011 on several South American tour dates and have staying in touch on Twitter since.
On Tuesday (21st February) 'Glad You Came' was also featured as one of the cover songs on the latest episode of FOX's hit musical series Glee.
It was also announced today that the 'Lighting' singer have been added to the line-up for this year's T in The Park Festival.
The Wanted are currently on their first arena tour in the UK and are due to perform tonight at the Cardiff Motorpoint Arena.
