The 'Boyfriend' singer has sent the band a good luck message ahead of this Sunday's chart show.
Justin Bieber has given a "shootout" to The Wanted to wish them luck with the release of their new single 'Chasing The Sun'.
The 'Glad You Came' singers released their latest song in the UK to download on Sunday (20th May) and are looking to score a number one single on the Vodafone Big Top 40 this coming weekend.
"Shoutout to my boys @thewantedmusic who are going for #1 in the UK with chasing the sun. good luck. see u soon? ha," Justin tweeted last night (24th May),
The 'Lightning' singers notably supported the 'Boyfriend' star on several dates of his South American tour back in 2011, and have maintained a close friendship ever since.
Max, Tom, Siva, Nathan and Jay recently admitted they would love to collaborate with the 18 year-old pop singer at some point down the line, and even revealed they have the "perfect" song in mind for the team-up.
Both The Wanted and Justin Bieber are set to take to the stage on 9th June at Wembley Stadium for the Capital FM Summertime Ball 2012, and both acts also performed at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas last weekend.
Tune in to the Vodafone Big Top 40 this Sunday (27th May) with Rich and Kat to find out where The Wanted chart with their new single 'Chasing The Sun'.
