The 'Boyfriend' star's girlfriend was praised by Pattie Mallette during an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres show.
Justin Bieber's mum Pattie Mallette has spoken out on her son's relationship with Selena Gomez calling the couple "adorable".
The 'Never Say Never' singer and the Disney star went public with their relationship in early 2011 when they attended a Vanity Fair event, and the Canadian's mum told Ellen DeGeneres that she finds Selena "so sweet".
"How can you not like her? She's so sweet and she's good for him, and they're great together," she confessed. "They're adorable."
She also revealed that she promised Justin that when she split with his father Jeremy, she wouldn't date anyone else until he turned 18.
"I take that vow really seriously. I remember when I made it, I wrote it down on a piece of paper, I had someone witness it and it means a lot," she admitted. "I made it this far, I'm not stopping now.
"When I moved to Atlanta with Justin, because of all the chaos and how crazy it was, I told him I would focus on him and wait until he's 18 before I started dating. Now he's just turned 18," she added.
Justin was recently reported to have written a track for his girlfriend's new album after Will.i.am revealed he was played the song by the 'Somebody To Love' singer during a studio session.
Meanwhile, the teen star is currently preparing to head out on his 'Believe' world tour which will head to the UK in early 2013.
He has also reportedly recruited magician David Blaine to help work on the outing alongside 'Never Say Never' concert film director Jon M. Chu.
