The 'As Long As You Love Me' star and his actress girlfriend are widely rumoured to have broken up this month.
Justin Bieber has reportedly decided to remove the references to Selena Gomez from his latest single 'Beauty And A Beat' following the couple's heavily rumoured split this week.
The 'Boyfriend' singer's latest release from his 2012 album 'Believe' features a section from US star Nicki Minaj where she raps the lyrics, "But I gotta keep an eye out for Selena".
Justin is said to be keen to remove the reference from all future performances of the song to avoid any negative fan reaction to Selena's name, after widespread reports suggest the young couple called time on their two year relationship at the end of last week.
"It's too late for Justin to remove the lyric from his album," a source revealed to The Sun this week. "But there's no way he's going to be singing it or having anyone else sing it, including Nicki, at his concerts.
"He knows it would just rub salt in the wounds for Selena and there would be a huge backlash from his girl fans, so it's easier forgotten," they added.

It is believed the two young stars' busy work schedules were a major contributing factor to the reported split, although neither Justin or Selena has made any official comment on rumours of their break-up.
