The 'Beauty & A Beat' singer also reveals the type of romantic things he likes to do for his girlfriends.
Justin Bieber has opened up about his views on romance and says he feel it is the man's job to make romantic gestures.
The 'As Long As You Love Me' singer admitted he wouldn't like it if a girl asked him out instead, and credits his sensitive nature to growing up with a single mother.
"I think it's up to the guy to be romantic," Justin told Gulf News this week. "I think it's the guy's responsibility to take [a girl] out.
"It can't be the other way around," he explained. "That would take away my masculinity if that happen[ed]."
The 'Boyfriend' singer went on to explain what he sees as a romantic gesture between couples.
"I think that the most romantic things to do for someone are the things that you spend time on," Justin continued. "Like having a picnic where you bring all the stuff they like.
"You make it something that she’s going to remember so she can tell all of her friends."
He also praised his mother, Pattie Mallette, for raising him to be romantic and sensitive to women.
"I guess I grew up with my mum, so she influenced me a lot, so growing up and having your mum always around you, you become a sensitive guy," he added. "So I think there's ups and downs to it."
