The 'As Long As You Love Me' singer came out top of Bing.com's poll in 2011 but falls one place to Kanye West's girlfriend.
Elsewhere, there are new entries in the top ten from Rihanna at four, Nicki Minaj in ninth position and there's a leap for Katy Perry who jumped from seven to six.
In the most searched for song list, PSY with 'Gangnam Style' came out top with Carly Rae Jepsen's 'Call Me Maybe' in second and Justin Bieber's 'Boyfriend' third.
It's better news for the Canadian star in the most searched musician ahead of the late Whitney Houston, Rihanna and Katy Perry.
Meanwhile, it's been a tough week for the singer who was booed during his halftime performance at the Grey Cup in Canada, was overtaken by PSY for the title of most viewed person on YouTube and was criticised for wearing a pair of dungarees when meeting the Canadian Prime Minister.
