Some clever photoshopping led fans to believe Justin popped the question to Hailey Baldwin – and the resulting memes HAVE to be seen.
When the hashtag #CongratsJustinAndHailey started trending on Twitter last night, the #Beliebers fandom pretty much broke Twitter.
The rumours – which turned out to be a hoax from a photoshopped photo – suggested that Justin Bieber had popped the question to Hailey Baldwin, who he has previously been thought to be dating.

A photo appeared on Twitter showing a female hand with a diamond ring on it, where someone had photoshopped the TMZ watermark and the words ‘Thanks Bieber’ as if the photo had originally been sent via Snapchat.
The rumours turned out to be false and totally unrelated to TMZ, but the resulting hysteria DID spawn some hilarious reactions from fans:
