The ‘Boyfriend’ star, who has been open about having to “figure some stuff out” during his time off over the past year or so, says he still finds it “tough at times” to cope with the intense scrutiny he faces with fame.
“I just felt like you never know how people are going to accept you, especially when you take a break from something you love, or step away and figure some stuff out,” Justin revealed exclusively to Marvin tonight (10th September). “It was just natural for me to just have that angst energy about me and I think that once I finally hit the stage and felt how much people were accepting me and wanted me to win.
“It just was such a relieving feeling,” he explained. “No one knows what it’s truly like to have a lot of people constantly bashing you and bringing you down, it can be tough at times.
“But to understand that there are beautiful people who aren’t doing that and just to focus on that stuff. That’s really what keeps me [going],” Justin added.
Justin Bieber returned with new song ‘What Do You Mean’ this month which went straight to number one on the Vodafone Big Top 40.
