The creators of the recent Tupac hologram say it is possible to have modern singers perform on stage with music legends from the past.
Justin Bieber could one day be able to perform alongside the legendary Elvis Presley, according to the creators behind the famous Tupac hologram that featured at Coachella Music & Arts Festival earlier this month.
The likes of Rihanna and Katy Perry were just some of the artists who praised Musion Technology's hologram of the 'California Love' rapper, which was shown alongside Snoop Dogg and Dr Dre during their performance at the festival two weeks ago.
Musion Technology head of music Sanj Surati has now teased that the technology is likely to become even more popular and would allow them to stage some unlikely team-ups between modern artists and famous musicians of the past.
"It would be a cool thing," he told NME, when asked whether there were any plans to have 'Boyfriend' singer Justin Bieber performing alongside a hologram of 'Hound Dog' singer Elvis Presley.
"Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, oh and Michael Jackson would be the ultimate one," he teased. "Maybe even Whitney Houston. 'This is obviouslyy a historic and exciting initiative that we're all witnessing currently, and it would make sense for them to bring it to Europe. And maybe take it to the rest of the world.
After the crowd-pleasing set at Coachella in tribute to the late rapper Tupac, Rihanna praised the visual illusion as "unbelievable" while 'Teenage Dream' singer Katy Perry admitted the performance had brought her to tears.
Justin Bieber is currently promoting his upcoming third studio album 'Believe' following a recent visit to the UK, which is due to be officially released on 18th June.
