The 'Boyfriend' star gave an acoustic rendition of Justin Timberlake's hit song during his 'Believe' tour this week.
Justin Bieber performed a cover version of Justin Timberlake's hit single 'Cry Me A River' during his 'Believe' tour at the TD Garden in Boston this weekend following rumours of his apparent break-up with girlfriend Selena Gomez.
The 'As Long As You Love Me' singer is said to have called time on his relationship with the Disney star, with work commitments of the pair cited as the reason for the split.
Neither member of the couple has confirmed any reports, but the Canadian star gave strong hints that the rumours were true with his acoustic cover of the N*Sync singer's famous break-up song.
Sat on the steps of his stage, backed by a fellow musician, the singer delivered a laid-back tender version of the song to his fans in attendance.
Further speculation has arisen on Twitter today (13th November) after the singer quoted comments given to him by a stranger.
He tweeted: "Life is short. It's gonna be what it's gonna be. As long as u put your best foot forward." -Glenn... words from a stranger I just met. :)"
The pair had been dating for almost two years and made their first public appearance together at the 2011 Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
