The 'Call Me Maybe' singer congratulated Justin on his "amazing" new single yesterday.
Justin Bieber has thanked Carly Rae Jepsen after the Canadian singer congratulated him on the success of his new single 'Boyfriend'.
The 'Mistletoe' singer's brand new track 'Boyfriend' received its first play on Capital FM yesterday morning (26th March), and his new signing Carly described the single as "amazing".
"Big congrats to @justinbieber BOYFRIEND is amazing. You killed it," Carly tweeted on Monday to the 18 year-old pop star.
"Thanks. u r killing it too!" Justin later replied, before congratulating Carly on her top five position on the US iTunes chart with new single 'Call Me Maybe'. "@carlyraejepsen #4 on itunes?!?! leggo."
The 'Never Say Never' singer told Capital FM this week that his aim with 'Boyfriend' is to "turn people's heads around" and bring in a new fan base.
Justin's new single 'Boyfriend' was released in the US yesterday, where it is currently number one on the US iTunes chart, and a UK release is expected to follow in May.
