The 'Never Say Never' star admits there would be some copyright issues if he was to don the Toy Story costume.
Justin Bieber has confessed that his upcoming music video to new single 'Boyfriend' will not see him dressing up as Toy Story star Buzz Lightyear.
The 'One Time' singer told MTV News that although his track makes a reference to the character, he would not be taking to wearing any costumes on set.
He said: "No, no, I won't be dressed up as Buzz Lightyear. I think there's some copyright issues, I can't use that."
Speaking about the reaction he has received to the song, he admitted he was pleased to see such a strong response from fans and the industry.
He added: "The reaction's been great [to 'Boyfriend']; not only have I got good reactions from my fans, but great reactions from people who, you know, [might not usually listen to my music]. I've gotten messages like 'You know, I never would have listened to Justin and now I love this song.' So, it's really great feedback."
The star told Capital he would be debuting the video within the next two weeks and has been releasing a series of teaser clips in the meantime to preview the promo.
