The 18 year-old singer says people have said his new single changed their minds about his music.
Justin Bieber says fan reaction to his new single 'Boyfriend' has been "amazing", and also said he is happy the song has made fans of people who didn't listen to his music before.
The 'Never Say Never' singer released the first single from his new album 'Believe' on Sunday (8th April), and says the support from his fans has been "incredible".
"Man, it's been incredible. I couldn't be happier," Justin told the Vodafone Big Top 40 over the weekend. "The fans have been amazing and the reaction to 'Boyfriend' has been incredible so I couldn't be happier.
"'Boyfriend' in America's done well, it's done well all over!" the 'Mistletoe' singer continued. "Just to have the support from my fans, and then other people.
"Like I've gotten people say that they didn't really listen to my music and then now they heard 'Boyfriend' and they really liked it, so it's really good to hear that."
Less than 24 hours after its release on Sunday Justin Bieber's new single 'Boyfriend' entered the Vodafone Big Top 40 at number two, just behind his protege Carly Rae Jepsen's first UK single 'Call Me Maybe'.
Justin Bieber confirmed this week that he and Usher have recorded duets together for each of their upcoming studio albums.
