The 'Boyfriend' star was greeted by a hostile reception this weekend when he performed at the sporting event.
Justin Bieber was booed during his performance at the halftime show of the Grey Cup in Canada this weekend.
The 'As Long As You Love Me' singer was immediately jeered by the crowds in attendance at the Rogers Centre in Toronto for the annual Canadian Football League championship game.
Arriving on stage to a hostile reception, he launched into his smash hit single 'Boyfriend' before giving a rendition of recent single 'Beauty And A Beat'.
He faced yet more boos at the end of his set but thanked the fans in attendance.
"Thank you so much Canada, I love you," he said before exiting the stage.
Carly Rae Jepsen was also among the star performers at the halftime show as well as Gordon Lightfoot and band Marianas Trench.

The teen star will bring the jaunt to the UK in early 2013, performing a series of shows at London's O2 Arena, Manchester and Birmingham along the way.
