Controversy over the 'Boyfriend' singer's comments have been labelled "childish" by a relative of Anne Frank.
Justin Bieber has been defended over his controversial guestbook comments at the Anne Frank Museum by the Holocaust victim's step-sister, who says Anne "probably would" have been a fan of the Canadian pop star.
Eva Schloss has commented on this week's controversy, after Justin wrote in the museum's guest book that he hopes Anne would have been a Beliebers, and says she thinks the media furore over his comments is "childish".
"It's so childish. She probably would have been a fan," Eva said, according to The Sun. "Why not?
"He's a young man and she was a young girl, and she liked film stars and music," Eva explained. "They make a lot of fuss about everything that is connected with Anne Frank."

Justin Bieber is rumoured to be planning to buy a house in Dubai after recently visiting the city.
