The 'Boyfriend' star joins the likes of Ashton Kutcher who've been on the receiving end of a similar hoax.
Justin Bieber has become the latest victim of the recent series of "swatting" prank 911 calls after cops stormed his Los Angeles home.
The 'Never Say Never' singer was caught up in the hoax after someone phoned the police claiming there was someone waving a gun near his house, reports TMZ.
"Police sent the cavalry, cars, helicopters, the works," a source told the publication. "Justin's security let the cops in, and they did a sweep of the house but found nothing.
"We're also told cops did a similar sweep of 2 other homes on the block."
Ashton Kutcher and Miley Cyrus were also recent victims of the same prank.
Justin was also caught up in another act of criminal activity after revealing he had several personal items stolen from his dressing room as he performed in Washington this week.
"Sucks when u take personal footage and people don't respect your privacy," he tweeted to fans after learning of the theft.
Meanwhile, Justin will continue his 'Believe' world tour tomorrow night (12th October) in Calgary.
