Twenty One Pilots finally made their big comeback yesterday (July 11) and it really didn't disappoint.
After a year-long hiatus away from the spotlight, Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun returned with not one but TWO new songs, 'Jumpsuit' and 'Nico and the Niners'. They also confirmed that their fifth studio album will be called TRENCH and announced a huge world tour taking in North America, Europe and Australia/New Zealand. Honestly, we've been high on life ever since.
Accompanying 'Jumpsuit' was a stunning music video that sees Tyler being chased by a mysterious red villain. It also features a stunning backdrop of a deep canyon with a river, flanked by black shores, running through the middle. Naturally, many people are wondering where they filmed the video so they can visit the location IRL.

Still not over this video.
Fans have already tracked down the location to a place in south Iceland called Fjaðrárgljúfur (we were going to spell it phonetically for you but we're pretty sure that it's impossible in the English language - you can listen to someone say it here), which is approximately a 3 hour drive outside the capital Reykjavik.
According to Icelandic tourist guides, the valley was formed at the end of the last ice age around 10,000 years ago and the ravine was created by the runoff from a glacial lake. It's about 100 meters deep and two kilometres long. One website noted how it wasn't as well known as and less crowded than other tourist spots in the area. We suspect that might change now that the biggest band in the world just recorded their comeback music video there. Sorry about it.
Here's some photos we found on Instagram so you can get a better impression of just beautiful this place is.
Twenty One Pilots are not the only artists to have recorded music videos in Iceland. Justin Bieber shot the video for 'I'll Show You' in multiple locations on the island, as did Zara Larsson and MNEK for 'Never Forget You'. And, of course, Icelandic musician Björk has filmed several videos there too.
We wonder if TØP filmed anymore videos while they were out there?
