The 'Who You Are' singer admits she has been impressed with how the 'Firework' singer has coped with the past months.
Jessie J has admitted that she feels "inspired" by Katy Perry for her ability to handle her personal and professional life in such a dignified and strong manner.
The 'Price Tag' star told Glamour magazine that she has been particulalry impressed with the way the star has coped with her personal life being in the media so much since her and comedian Russell Brand called an end to their 14 month marriage at the end of 2011.
"Her hard work, her dedication, and how she deals with having the world stare at her every move, personally and professionally, with such dignity and strength, is inspiring," revealed The Voice UK coach.
The star was due to join the American on her 'California Dreams' tour last November but was forced to cancel her support slots due to an injury eventually being replaced by Ellie Goulding.
Katy has kept fairly quiet on her marriage breakdown and recently admitted her upcoming 3D concert movie Part Of Me will "tastefully" reveal all on the split.
Meanwhile, both stars will be taking to the stage at Wembley Stadium this weekend (9th June) at Capital FM's Summertime Ball 2012 to perform alongside the likes of Coldplay, The Wanted and Ed Sheeran.
