The 'Who You Are' singer says she is "excited" about recording a duet with the 'Lego House' singer.
Jessie J has confirmed plans to record a duet with Ed Sheeran and says she will "definitely" be heading into the recording studio with him this year.
The 'A Team' singer teased the potential collaboration last week following the BRIT Awards nominations party, and Jessie revealed further details yesterday (15th January) after reaching number one on the Vodafone Big Top 40 with her latest single 'Domino'.
"Yes definitely. Me and Ed, every time we see each other we're like, 'We need to get in the studio together'," Jessie told Rich and Kat on Sunday. "His album has been moments of glorious moments for me since it's been out and I've just not stopped listening to it.
"I definitely think he's someone that's setting the standard for British music higher and higher.
"I just really want to get in the studio and write a song with him," Jessie confirmed. "We'd said that we want to do a duet, not a feature, a duet.
She added: "I'm excited about working with him."
Jessie promised that, despite a hectic 2012 schedule which will see her starring on The Voice UK as well as heading out on tour, she will "definitely find the time" to record a track with the 'Lego House' singer.
Ed Sheeran has been nominated in four categories at next month's BRIT Awards 2012 while Jessie J has received three nominations.
