The UK singer-songwriter has been one of the fastest rising stars of the past twelve months, becoming a phenomenon by breaking the record for most number one singles by a UK female artist EVER, scoring the fastest selling debut record of the year AND selling 10 million records worldwide.
So it’s safe to say the 16,000 strong crowd couldn’t WAIT to hear Jess smash it on that stage tonight (5th December), And, no surprises, she did just that!
She kicked off with one of her latest releases, the uplifting ‘Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself’, which made sure the feel-good vibes were in full flow.
“How are we doing? We good? I’m so grateful to be here right now in front of all these faces,” Jess told the crowd. “This has been the best year of my entire life.”

Next up it was time to take things back to last year with ‘Real Love’, one of her team-up tracks with Clean Bandit, and the crowd sang EVERY note right back at Jess!
The third track Jess treated our #CapitalJBB crowd to was her original Clean Bandit collab ‘Rather Be’ - the song that made the world REALLY stand up and take note of her incredible voice - and tonight’s performance was no different. This is a TRUE fan favourite.
Next Jess performed her first solo single ‘Right Here’ - getting the crowd up and dancing for this one and showing off some moves to go along with that undeniably amazing bass line.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you Capital, thank you to everyone who is here, thank you to my amazing band!”
Finally, Jess rounded off her hit-filled set with the solo single that really marked her on the map as a global superstar-in-the-making… ‘Hold My Hand’!
