Jennifer Lopez, Justin Bieber And Rihanna Top Forbes' Celebrity 100 List 2012

The artists all feature in a new rundown from the financial magazine which looks at the worlds most powerful stars.

Jennifer Lopez has been named as the most powerful celebrity in the world in a new list by Forbes magazine which has been published today (16^th May).

The 'On The Floor' star takes over from Lady Gaga who took the top prize last year and sees the American Idol judge beating competition from fellow music stars such as Jusitn Bieber, Rihanna and Katy Perry.

Chat show host Oprah Winfrey came in second with Justin taking third spot ahead of the Bajan 'We Found Love' singer.

Newly appointed X Factor USA judge Britney Spears was named in sixth place with Katy Perry also making it in the top ten at number eight.

Power couple Beyonce and Jay-Z were also named in the rundown which also featured Hollywood star Tom Cruise and golfing professional Tiger Woods.

J-Lo's earnings over the past twelve months were measure at $52 million according to the publication thanks to her role as a judge on American Idol, the announcement of a new tour and her fashion line.
