The 'Otis' rapper says he and the 'Gold Digger' star have plans in place to release a lot of new material over the next twelve months.
Jay-Z says he and Kanye West are in such a creative place that they may release three albums over the course of 2012.
The rap duo released 'Watch The Throne' in August as a collaborative effort, and are currently supporting the release on tour together.
"It depends on how this thing finishes up. We – I say 'we' because I'm in a 'Throne' mode' – we're in a great place creatively," Jay-Z told MTV News.
"You might see a Jay, then Kanye and a Throne album next year," he teased. "We really found our zone."
Jay-Z's last solo album was 'The Blueprint 3' back in 2009, while Kanye released fifth album 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy' in November 2010.
More recently Jay-Z featured on the titular track from Rihanna's sixth studio album 'Talk That Talk'.
'Watch The Throne' and 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy' were both nominated for 'Best Rap Album' at the 2012 Grammy Awards nominations ceremony.
