Jay-Z Throws $100,000 Surprise Party To Celebrate Beyonce's Super Bowl 2013 Performance

The 'Young Forever' singer is said to have sprayed the star and Destiny's Child with an bottle of champagne.

Jay-Z reportedly splashed out thousands on a surprise party for Beyonce to celebrate her US Super Bowl 2013 halftime performance over the weekend.

The '99 Problems' rapper is said to have spent around £50,000 on champagne for the party guests, as well as presenting his pop star wife with a £60,000 diamond encrusted watch to commemorate the special occasion.

The star-studded party was held after Beyonce's performance on Sunday evening (3rd February), and even saw the Roc Nation boss spraying his wife and her Destiny's Child bandmates with a bottle of £10,000 champagne.

"Beyonce was over the moon with the surprise party," a source told the Daily Star this week. "Everyone was watching as Jay-Z scooped her up for a kiss.

"But then suddenly he grabbed a giant bottle of pink Armand de Brignac champers, shook it up and sprayed it over her, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

"They were all laughing and dancing and didn't seem to mind getting their hair wet," the source revealed. "He even soaked all of their hickory chicken wings and club sandwiches.

They added: "The room was full of expensive champagne."

Following her highly anticipated halftime show performance Beyonce then announced a brand new world tour, called 'The Mrs. Carter Show', which will arrive for a six-date stop in the UK on 26th April.

Jay-Z is said to have opted out of joining the 'Love On Top' singer on stage at the Super Bowl to make sure it was "her moment".
