Jason Derulo turned down Hendrix role

Jason Derulo said he turned down a chance to play Jimi Hendrix in a film to work on his album.

He told The Daily Record: 'I've turned down a lot of movies and commercials and one of them was for an autobiography of Jimi Hendrix playing the main man.

'That would have been really cool but I can't do it because I'm trying to balance my album and tour.'

Previously Jason said he turned down writing for JLS in order to concentrate on working on the album.
