Jason Derulo Almost Left Paralysed After Fracturing Neck In Rehearsals For Tour

The 'In My Head' star told he is lucky the injury wasn't any more serious.
Jason Derulo was almost left paralysed from the neck injury he sustained during rehearsals for his now cancelled worldwide tour on Tuesday (3rd January) according to his doctor.
The 'It Girl' star suffered an acute fracture to his vertebra after attempting to perform a dangerous acrobatic move and is lucky to have escaped with nothing more serious.
In a statement released by Warner Bros Record Company, the American star was said to have been immediately taken to a nearby hospital where he was told the severity of the injury.
"After being rushed to Memorial West Hospital in Miami’s Pembroke Pines, FL, he was told by doctors that the accident could have left him paralyzed," the statement read.
The singer has since been released but has been told to wear a neck brace for the next few months.
Meanwhile, the star features alongside Rihanna, Jessie J and Ed Sheeran in Capital FM's brand new advert for 2012.
